The neighbors are extremely noisy and disrespectful, and the office is completely incompetent. They only care about collecting rent and do not think at all about the well-being of the tenants. There are no proper rules or policies. The neighbors drink and party whenever they want, playing loud music and dancing, without any consideration that there might be a sick person, someone working shifts, an elderly person, or even a pregnant woman living nearby. They are drunk and careless

I would like to thank Mr Santiago P. for all his hard work as head of the maintenance department here at The Grove apartment complex... Mr Santiago and his crew are always willing to go above and beyond to helping the residents here at the Grove at city center and I was just like to say, thank you for all you guys do. 👍

Visited my family for a BBQ which had propane and enjoyed the pool too. Definitely a place I would want to live.

If I could I would give this negative stars. This is the worst place I have ever lived. To start, the pictures online look nothing like what it actually is. There is always trash scattered everywhere, and dog poop is never picked up. I can't count the amount of chicken wing bones I have pulled out of my dog's mouth. In the winter they throw handfuls of de-ice on the sidewalk instead of spreading evenly, and in other areas they don't even do it so it's super icy and dangerous. Problems with management, the amount of times I had to contact to get emergency maintenance. - No A/C IN 100F weather, no heat once it got cold, and a leaking bathtub. They are so rude and unhelpful. Plus the paperwork they tried to have me sign off of when moving out didn't even match names. When asking questions, the office staff would say I don't know and wouldn't bother looking it up. The area around is full crime (my car got broken into). And the "security" around the area is an absolute joke. The gates are never locked so anyone can walk in and out of the area, or they are left broken and open. RUN. This is slum Lord.

As other reviews have said, make sure you know your tenant rights and the Colorado Habitability Law. I don't understand how this place is still allowed to have tenants. Firstly, under the Colorado Habitability Law, the landlords are REQUIRED to make sure the Air Conditioning AND Heating are working, BEFORE a tenant moves in to the property. This was not the case. The AC wasn't working when we moved in during the middle of summer (July 2024) and even after multiple calls to the maintenance team and the management office, we still didn't get it fixed. One of the calls to the office included me quoting the Colorado Habitability Law and then being told by one of the property managers "I am not doing this with you" and hanging up on me. The only reason they fixed it (after about 2 weeks) is because I contacted the head office of the management team (Security Properties) and told them they were breaking the law and I would be taking legal action. When the weather got colder, we turned the heater on, only to find that didn't work either. This time I went straight above the property management heads, to the higher ups, and it was fixed a lot quicker. Outside of illegal issues with the actual units, the entire complex is dirty and not maintained well. There is always broken glass, beer bottles and dog excrement scattered around the grounds. We had neighbors steal packages from us, and admit that did so. The pool is always closed for "maintenance" (we lived here for 10 months and I can count the number of days it was open on one hand). The gym equipment is broken and never repaired. The management staff are very rude, and even one of the maintenance guys told us he was leaving because he didn't want to work for them anymore. Good luck if you move in here, I personally wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Haven't had a/c in over a month, toilet doesn't work and now the plumbing is backed up into my tub/shower. Stove had a bad burner that never got fixed despite numerous maintenance requests. There was elaking from the upstairs a/c unit and when they came to fix it, the left two huge holes in my ceiling for weeks! They take FOREVER to respond to those requests and sometimes even close them without even doing any work! Not worth it.

This place sucks to live in, so many people in one apartment, the amount of unruly, unsupervised rude children is astonishing. Property management is any better. Don’t move here if you are single. Or have any class. Needs to get better. Wish I could break my lease w/o penalties, uhggg!!

Santiago and Benny fixed both of our toilets in one hour. They had to correct Edgar’s mistakes and lack of follow through. We are so thankful for Santiago and Benny. They’re so polite and professional.
